$500 Cash for College

Do you want to win $500 cash for college or a $500 gift card to the Apple Store!?!

This year Photography in Light is having a contest for all high school seniors who would like to participate. The winner of this drawing will choose between $500 cash or a $500 gift card to the Apple Store.

To have your name put into the drawing you need to first of all schedule a portrait session with Photography in Light. Then refer TEN other students to Photography in Light for their senior portraits. For each additional FIVE students you refer you will get your name entered into the drawing again. (For example; Ten referrals = one entry. Fifteen referrals = two entries. Twenty referrals = three entries into the drawing.)

For the referral to be eligible, the student MUST use your name when they call to book their session. This is very important! For you to get credit for a referral they must use your name at the time of booking their session!

If you earm at least ten referrals, get your name entered into the drawing, but in the end are not chosen as the winner, you will receive a $50 Visa gift card.

Here are a few tips that will help you earn enough referrals to be entered into the drawing. First schedule your own portrait session with Photography in Light during the summer before your senior year or early your senior year. You will then have your own images from Photography in Light you can show off on facebook. You can also use facebook status updates to encourage your friends and other seniors to book their portrait session with Photography in Light. You may purchase "senior cards" with your images and name on them. These can be passed out to other students to help you gather referrals. A set of 50 business sized cards will cost $25. Any additional sets of 50 cards will cost $20. Purchasing these cards is not mandatory to participate in the contest.

This contest begins June 1, 2012, and will run throughout the 2012-2013 school year. The contest will end on May 1, 2013. Before graduation in May 2013, I will announce the date and time the winner will be drawn. Everyone will be invited to come to see who the winner will be! Details of that event will be announced as the time arrives.
